This island is unlike any other island you've seen.
Big Major Cay Island is located in the Bahamas and while it has some pretty amazing beaches and perfectly clear water, it's more famous for it's happy swimming pigs.
The swimming pigs are so well known around the island that locals call this beach Pig Island or Pig Beach.
There are many legends as to how the pigs ended up here; some believe the pigs were meant to be cooked but the sailors that dropped them off on the island never returned.
Another theory is that the pigs survived a shipwreck or escaped from a nearby small island.
Whatever the actual truth is behind these pigs - they love to swim here and are adored my many locals and tourists.
