Target Employees Come To The Rescue Of Breastfeeding Woman
Shouldn't we all be pro-boobs by now?
Breastfeeding is a hotly debated topic, but it really shouldn't be.
It's a natural way for a mother to feed her child. Breastfeeding fights disease in both mother and child , it promotes bonding and most importantly, it saves families $2-4 thousand a year .
Duty calls whenever the baby is hungry, and no parent can accurately plan that because babies are random as hell. When in public, most breastfeeding mothers would choose to stop and breastfeed their child as opposed to having an infant scream bloody murder and piss everyone off.
Some assholes, however, consider a woman breastfeeding to be indecent exposure. This is a story about one of those assholes and how they got owned by some kind and caring Target employees.
This is Jessie Maher, a mother of two fabulous daughters (one of whom was born less than a MONTH ago).
Jessie was running errands at Target when her infant daughter needed a feeding. She discreetly tried to breastfeed her daughter in a corner of the food court.
But this jerk had a problem with that and started screaming.
He said "Can't you do that somewhere else?... That's fucking disgusting... You are nasty...you are fucking disgusting...you whore."
That should never be said to anyone, ever—but especially not a mother with her baby.
As soon as the harassment had started, a group of helpful Target employees rushed to Jessie's rescue.
Some of the employees dealt with the asshat who couldn't handle seeing a boob, and many of them came by to comfort and protect the very shaken mother. Jessie began to record the video when the Target employees came to help.
By the way, Target has a store policy on breastfeeding.
This is their STRICT policy the man thought he was enforcing.
There are laws in all but two U.S. states that make it completely legal for mothers to breastfeed their children in public.
Next time you see a woman breastfeeding in public, remember that she's a law-abiding citizen who deserves to do whatever the hell she wants with her amazing body in the name of her little nugget.
