SelÃ§uk YÄ±lmaz, an artist from Istanbul has an amazing talent for working with metal in extraordinary ways.

Here you can see on of his most recent pieces, titled "Asian," which is turkish for Lion.

To arrive at his finished product, it require 4,000 or more metal pieces. It also took him a whole year to assemble it.

The finished product weighs a total of about 500lbs.

Each and every piece of metal is cut by hand, as well as pounded until it's shaped as he desires.

He follows through, even to the slightest of details.

It's astounding how realistic this lion really looks.
