Mike and Laura Bergeron, a couple from California, have an interesting Christmas tradition.
The cards are, to say the least, interesting.
And indubitably hilarious.
Every year, Mike and Laura Bergeron create "themed" Christmas cards to send to friends and family.
And these "themes" are ironic genius.
The themes they choose range from goofy...
...to artistic...
The holiday, photoshopped version of American Gothic is a little creepy, but as far as Christmas cards go, it's downright inspired.
...to just plain awkward. Usually, there's some sort of time period associated with the card theme, as evidenced by the style choices they go with.
Still hilarious, though.
Along the way, they even had a little one join them...
...and then another. This is probably the best Christmas card I've ever seen. So much awkward, uncomfortable glory.
They've developed a knack over the years for really selling the themes of their cards. At first, you think this is a traditional, cute Christmas card.
And then you scroll down to the full family pic.
What a ridiculously funny family. I'd love to get one of these in the mail, complete with the quote at the bottom.
