Instead of Sending a Loved One to a Nursing Home, Consider This New Option

Nursing homes have officially met their match.

After seeing the overall lack of care and freedom provided at a number of different nursing homes, Reverend Ken Dupin decided that something needed to be done...
Thus, the MEDCottage was born: a traditionally designed miniature home in which an elderly loved one can live both comfortably and independently.

The cottages, only 288 square feet, are designed to be small enough to fit in almost any back yard, allowing an elderly person to remain close to their family, while also retaining their independence.

These "granny pods" as some refer to them, may have a relatively conventional look, but their design is anything but.
Not only are they connected to the supporting family's home utilities, they're also equipped with assistive technologies like suspended track rails, for greater mobility.
The bathrooms are also equipped with handrails, for added stability and safety, along with being handicap friendly.
There are three different sizes of MEDCottages, depending on the needs and preferences of the resident.

The Classic (288 square feet), Standard (299 square feet), and Grand (605 square feet).

And not only are they all thoughtfully designed with elderly loved ones in mind...
They all have remarkably beautiful interiors, fit for someone in need of simplicity and comfort.
Suffice it to say, it may not be too long before Dupin's MEDCottages become the preferred alternative to nursing homes.
