This 9-year-old started his own no-kill animal shelter.

Ken's love for animals led him to open a shelter out of his garage when he found out how often animals had to be put down in official pounds. With the help of international support, the Happy Animals Club is still helping animals in the Philippines today.

Christian saw a commercial for a program that gave wigs to children with cancer and selflessly decided to donate himself. He grew his hair out for two years and donated four 12-inch ponytails. 

3-year-old Ariana also got her first hair cut to donate it to those who needed it.

When she saw a bald little girl and her parents explained it was because she was sick, she said sweetly, "Oh, she can have some of my hair!"

This little girl sold her stuffed animals to improve the care of sheltered animals.
9-year-old Hailey builds mobile houses for the homeless.

Hailey has been growing food for the homeless in her garden since she was 6. Now every year with the help of donations, she collects toiletries and clothes, distributes food, and builds as many of these mini houses as she can to help her town's homeless. 

This girl comforted her dog before his shots at the vet.

She assured her buddy that even though shots hurt, it'll be okay and she'll take him to the toy store when he's all done. 

Carlitos saved up to buy the shelter dogs a peanut-buttery treat.
This 2-year-old helped to heal "injured" dinosaurs.

When these wounded "Battle Damage" dinosaur toys were released, she asked her mom to help treat his wounds. 

Mackenzie used her garage sale profits to prepare backpacks for needy kids.

She has raised more than $500 worth of supplies, twice!
