1. The Train Car McDonald's in Barstow, California:

This McDonald's is located on the historic route 66 and is in the form of old railway cars. Diners eat in the passenger cars and the bathroom is located in the caboose. This is a pretty classic and touristy place for many people who are traveling on the iconic route 66 to stop and eat at!

2. The Happy Meal Box in Dallas, Texas:

This McDonald's has an entire play place that is shaped like a happy meal box. Therefore, this location sells more happy meals than any other McDonald's location. Of course it does!

3. The McDonald's Inside an Airplane in Taupo, New Zealand:

When McDonald's purchased this lot, the plane came with it. So, they made the plane an area where diner's can eat and enjoy their food.

4. The Ski-Thru McDonald's in Lindvallen, Sweden:

McDonald's built this ski-thru fast food stop in 1996. It was the first fast food place to ever be built on a ski run. You don't even have to take your skis off to order and eat your food here! Unless you want to, then you can sit inside the restaurant and enjoy your food.

5. The Mountainside McDonald's in Yangshuo, Guangxi Province, China:

This McDonald's was built for residents of this town as well as the tourists who travel through for the backpacking adventure the town holds.

6. The McDonald's Town Hall in Bray, Ireland:

This McDonald's opened in 1997. The upper floors of the building are meant for Bray town hall council meetings while the McDonald's is on the lower level of the building.

7. The McFarm McDonald's located in Moose Jaw, Canada:

The restaurant looks like a farmhouse on the outside and the interior decorations match the farm feel just as well. Something special about this place? They made the drive through wide enough for tractors to pick some food up before or after work!
