There's a Litany of Super Hero Movies Lined Up, But This One is Getting People Pumped

For comic book, super hero, and action movie fans alike, the next several years of cinema magic is set to be the most eventful and exciting stretch of super hero movies to date. Chock full of glorious, hype-packed, masked vigilante blockbusters from both Marvel and DC Comics, the next 5 years has enough in store to give a comic book fan an anxiety attack.

From the upcomingÂ AntmanÂ to the much anticipatedÂ Superman vs Batman, to Captain America: Civil War, to Thor: Ragnarok, andÂ Dr. Strange,Â the list is almost panicking. But amidst the deluge of sneak peaks, press releases, footage leaks, and fan club speculation pieces, one has remained in the background of all the commotion. Recently though, producers have given fans plenty to talk about.

With a stud cast and swelling fanbase, DC Comic's "Suicide Squad" is set to implode the box offices.

With Jared Leto (not shown) as "The Joker," Margot Robbie as "Harley Quinn," Will Smith as "Deadshot," and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as "Killer Croc," the supervillain thriller already has all the makings of a badass, action-packed blockbuster.

The first version of the team debuted in 1959, with second and current set of characters making their debut in 1987.

For those who are unfamiliar with the storyline, the modern Suicide Squad, created by John Ostrander, is an antihero team of incarcerated supervillains who act as exploitable assets for the United States government, undertaking high-risk black ops, or "suicide" missions in exchange for clemency or reduced sentences.

The team, as most could assume, is led by The Joker, and headed up by the likes of Harley Quinn and Deadshot, along with a series of other notable villains.

Recently, there's been a litany of sneak peaks and on-set leaks, much of which Warner Bros. has diligently regulated.

There were a number of on-set fan captured clips of scenes featuring Jared Leto and Margot Robbie that flooded the internet over the weekend, before they were taken down by the production studio.

And while videos can be promptly taken down, pictures don't infringe on content copyrights. Here's a fan-capture of The Joker's new ride...

And here's a still of one of the scenes that leaked.

The scene centers around an intense altercation between The Joker and Harleen Quinzel - Harley Quinn's original name, before she's subdued and recruited by him.

And while it's certainly a disappointment that the scene is no longer viewable, there's still plenty more to chew on.

Waylon Jones, or "Killer Croc" (played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) who was born with an extreme skin defect, is a former crocodile wrestler and killer - hence his name - who turned criminal thereafter and became a key nemesis of Batman's. His crocodilian abilities allow him immense strength, as well as a keen sense of smell and the ability to hold his breath underwater for long periods of time.

Recently, this photo of The Joker being tattooed by Harley Quinn leaked as well.

And although he's not Heath Ledger, Jared Leto certainly seems like he has all the makings of a menacingly awesome Joker.

Margot Robbie seems to be gelling into her role as Harley Quinn well too.

And Will Smith certainly doesn't seem to mind his role as the sharpshooter, Deadshot, either.

Will's excited, Margot's excited...

And undoubtedly, we're all excited (as hell) forÂ Suicide SquadÂ too. Suffice it to say, it's release next summer couldn't come sooner.
