When De Volkskrant, a Dutch newspaper, contacted design studio Lernert & Santer to create a piece of work for an issue about food, the studio did NOT disappoint. What they ended up creating was this strangely fascinating piece of work that is made up of 98 pieces of food cut into just about 1 square inch.Â
Every piece of food in the photograph is unprocessed, and it includes fruits, meat and vegetables.
The image totally looks photoshopped, but the studio confirms that it is completely real.
