This Cat Bed is Every Super Mario Fan's Must-Have Home Item

Couple, Mike and Megan, ofÂ Catastrophic Creations, make inventive cat furniture full-time for a living (and do quite well). After making a Super Mario inspired cat-complex and having it become a huge hit, they realized they were on to something.

Wisely, they continued making Mario-themed creations, and their most recent installment instantly became a fan-favorite.

Behold, the Chain Chomp cat bed.

Cat-bed, storage bin, and decorative furniture piece all in one.

The entire piece is made of hardened styrofoam, which Mike and Megan shaped with a hand-made mold.

They simply painted the two pieces, and connected them with an industrial strength epoxy.

The two used multiple layers of epoxy as a coating as well, along with a thick glaze over the the Chomp's body to give it a metallic look.

And after attaching the teeth and eyes, the masterpiece was finished.

The wooden box also seconds as a storage cubby.

Talk about a badass pad for a cat.

Now they just need to make some Mario pipe scratching posts!
