If you're not a.) a gypsy, b.) insanely adventurous, or c.) into building and/or destroying things while wandering through the Nevada desert, then "The Burning Man Festival" probably isn't for you. The Mad Max-inspired, chaotically eccentric event is truly incomparable. Vagrants, travelers, art-enthusiasts, and tourists alike gather for what is easily one of the most indescribably unique festivals out there.

"Burners" do everything from building desert derby cars and recklessly racing them, to dance-partying in dust storms, to just burning things because, why not. It's an "eat or be eaten" type of world, not for the faint of heart. That being said, it looks pretty damn incredible.
