The conference "Innovation Palooza" is held for college students to work together and come up with solutions for very real problems. The problem that the student groups were faced with this year was coming up with a portable homeless shelter.
And one group from Carnegie Mellon had a seriously inpsired idea.
The group invented the "Satellite Shelter." It's a sleeping bag that turns into a homeless shelter, and it's inspired by blankets that are used in space.
