One group is trying to promote cycling in an unique way.

In Latvia, a few guys rode their bikes like this for a day. It may look funny, but it was for a good reason.

The cyclists were from the group "Let's Bike It." They wanted to create a representation of how much space cars take up compared to bikes.

They used bamboo sticks to construct a frame similar to that of a car.

Then, they rode around Riga for a few hours to draw attention to how absurd they looked.

Does one person need that much space to travel?

The publicity stunt was organized as a part of European Mobility Week.

It's a campaign dedicated to promoting sustainable urban mobility in European cities.
